"Courtney Considers": BOE Beauty

A couple weeks back the lovely team at BOE Beauty hooked a sister up with some awesome products from their line. BOE Beauty is a cosmetic company sold exclusively to Australia's own Big W, with a large majority of their products only costing $2 a piece. Because of the cheap price tag, I was very hesitant to try their products but I am now kicking myself I didn't try it earlier!

Continue on for an in-depth review on each of these products!

Matte Lip Cream in the shades #32 Blush Pink and #34 Pillarbox
The absolute stand out of the brand! For someone who lusted over the Australis Velourlips for months and was quite disappointed with the texture it becomes once on the lip, these BOE beauty ones are heaven sent! And bonus, for two bucks it's not even half the price of one Velourlip! They are super creamy and easy to wear all day. Has a fairly good staying power of 4-5 hours. After that, touch up can be applied directly to the lip. No fuss about taking off the previous shade. The shade Blush Pink is such a wearable dusty pink that can easily be built up for a night time use. The shade Pillarbox is a classic red, comparable to Mac's Russian Red, however in a lip cream form. With some blue undertones running through it,  it's perfect to match with a neutral eye.

Jumbo Wind Up Lips in the shades #24 Knockout Red and #22 Boudoir Pink
An obvious dupe for the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Lip Balms and the Clinque Chubby Sticks, BOE certainty delivered in the jumbo lip department! Both shades are highly pigmented. Basically what you see is what you get on your lips. Not the most long lasting lip products with about 2-3 hours wear time, but super easy for reapplying and chucking in your handbag. Defiantly worth picking up! Also works great paired on top of the matte lip creams.

Bronzing Powder in the shade #5 Glow Bronzing Powder
Extremely similar to Rimmel's Natural Bronzer and Stay Matte powder packaging (clear top lip with solid base), this bronzer is pretty decent. This shade (and all the other shades of bronzers I have seen in store) has some slight shimmer that does transfer on to the face. I personally enjoy a matte bronzer but if you prefer a subtle sheen then this is the product for you.

Eyeshadow Duo in the shade #26/#27 Evening Glamour
First things first, I absolutely love the packaging of this! It is my first ever screw top single eyeshadow and I love it. The shades I received is defiantly something I would go for- a shimmery black shade and shimmery silver/white shade. Perfect for the classic smokey eye look. Although being a super creamy product, the pigmentation is lacking. The black shade more so than the silver, which I see in a lot of cheaper black shadows. However being said, I used this with a primer and the shadow stayed on my sweaty, oily face the entire night. I defiantly give it some brownie points there!

All-in-all, if you're from Australia and don't have some of these goodies in your collection, get down to your local Big W and go get you some!
